What is ANSI/ISEA?

ANSI, American National Standards Institute, and ISEA, International Safety Equipment Association, jointly developed a standard for high-visibility clothing. ANSI and ISEA are not government agencies, so this standard is a suggested standard for everyone to adopt on his/her own. Many states have already adopted or are looking into the standard or some variations of it.
